This Terms of Service governs the way baprojectworkshop.com collects, uses, maintains, handles orders, shipments, warranties. This policy applies to the all products and services offered by baprojectworkshop.com. The term “we”, “us”, “I”; refers to “baprojectworkshop.com”. The term “buyer”, “customer”, “they”, “you”, “your”, “user” refers to the person or entity that is in possession of or has purchased a product from baprojectworkshop.com.
No matter what, contact us to discuss any issue that you have. We will do our best to help the you.
Our equipment and software has not been tested by an independent lab such as UL, or anyone else for that matter. We work hard to test and verify the quality and stability of our products. The buyer’s use of our products are at their own risk. Each product shipped is tested and should work properly out of the box. We will work hard with the user to make sure that everything is good working order, however like anything in the RepRap/3D printer space, buyer beware. The buyer is responsible for any damages resulting from the use of our products. Never, and we mean never, use any of our products unsupervised. Again, use our products is at your own risk.
- Products can be returned for a refund (minus shipping to you) within 30 days of receipt if they are unopened, unused, and never been installed. Please contact us prior to any return.
- Excluding verified warranty issues, there is a 10% restocking fee for all returns.
- Regardless of reason, the buyer is responsible for return shipping
- The shipping paid to send the order to the buyer is NON-REFUNDABLE.
- Refunds are only given after the item has been returned to us by the buyer.
We test and inspect all items sold for electrical and physical defects before shipping. We stand behind our products so if you have an issue contact us immediately. You must notify us within 14 days of receiving the item if it is dead on arrival (DOA).
If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as quickly as possible. If we have not begun processing the order, we will try to cancel it. This is not a guarantee, but we will make a best effort. If it has shipped or the shipping information has already been released, the order cannot be cancelled, and the buyer will responsible for the fees listed in the returns section.
All our products are backed by a 60-day warranty to be free of defects. Every item that we ship is tested prior to it being sent to the customer. Prior to any return, the buyer is required to work with us to try to resolve the issue prior to us taking the item back. Failure to do this, will void the warranty and we will not replace, repair, or provide a refund for the item that is having an issue.
PLEASE NOTIFY US AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE IF THERE IS AN ISSUE, failure to do so may void the warranty.
We will ALWAYS require the defective item back for inspection prior to replacing, repairing, or refunding the cost of the defective item. We will always try to repair or replace the defective item first. The buyer is responsible for the return shipping. If it is found that the item was in anyway used for a purpose that is not listed in the product description or has been damaged intentionally/unintentionally (act of God); this will void the warranty and we will not replace, repair, refund the cost of the item. If it is deemed that the issue is due to a defective item, we will cover the cost of shipping a replacement product to you. We reserve the right to replace the defective item with refurbished and/or previously used item that is of the same or similar type and value.
We ship to the following countries: North America, United Kingdom, Ireland, Europe, Australia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Singapore, US Minor Outlying Islands, US Virgin Islands. If the location is not listed here, please contact us prior to the purchase and we will see what the shipping cost is. All items are shipped via the USPS First Class mail, international is also done via the USPS and will be done at the least expensive rate available with tracking information. International shipping can be up to 5 times the cost of domestic shipping. Example; US mainland – $3.50 for less than a pound, $16 for most of the locations listed above. If the buyer wishes faster shipping service, please contact us prior to the purchase so that we can provide the correct shipping information.
WE WILL NOT UNDER DECLARE THE VALUE OF AN INTERNATIONAL SHIPPED PRODUCT.
For sales outside of the USA, we will not be responsible for additional charges assessed by customs officials in the target country. If the buyer decides that they do not wish to pay these fees, they may refuse to accept the delivery. The returned item will be subjected to the returns section.
We will not refund the shipping cost for incorrect address and contact information that is provided to us by the buyer.
Resell/copy/replication of our products
If the intention is to resell one or more of our products, please contact us for authorization. The causal sale of one of our products is not prohibited. The intention is to not compete against our own developed products. If the purpose of the purchase is to copy and/or replicate the item, all support and warranty services will not be provided. We will publish as much of the design documentation as possible, but do to copyright issues, not everything will or can be made available. Please contact us if there are any questions.
Pictures and or descriptions of an items may be slightly different from what you receive. The item will ALWAYS be the same specifications as what is listed in the product description. We will not sell a lesser item than what is listed in the description. You will always get what is advertised or better.
All support is provided by using the contact page. We ask that the original buyer submit the support request. We will cross reference all support requests against the buyer’s information. If the item was a gift, please let us know immediately and we will need to verify the original source.
TELEPHONE SUPPORT IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR ANY REASON.
Please review the support section of our website to see if there is any information that might help with your products. We cannot provide support for products that we do not manufacturer or test. This includes 3rd party libraries that are used to make our products work. We will try our best to answer all support questions, however there will be situations where we will need to forward the buyer to the original source.
We are in the eastern time zone of the US, so there can be some significant delays in getting to overseas support requests. We will work to return every request within 24 hours of us receiving the support request. The buyer should not expect to have a resolution within the same timeframe.
We are a small business and have day jobs, so we may not be available when it is convenient for the buyer. We will do our best to notify all customers via the website if we will be unavailable for an extended period. At least one weekend day, we will be unavailable, however we will return emails as quickly as possible.
